Longwood Symposium – “E Pluribus Unum”
Sugar Maples Center for Creative Arts is pleased to announce that Director, Kulvinder Kaur Dhew has been selected to be this year’s Keynote Speaker at Longwood University’s “E Pluribus Unum” Symposium. Located in Farmville, Virginia, Longwood University presents the annual symposium as part of an initiative to promote discourse amongst its full student body and the public around issues regarding civic engagement. Kaur Dhew will address the various roles that artists play in formulating individual and community responses to the challenges of free expression, climate change, and aesthetics. This year’s symposium takes place on November 14th and is free and open to the public.
