Dear Friends,

Catskill Mountain Foundation cares about the health and well-being of our staff, artists and audiences. As the situation with COVID-19 changes, we are adapting our policy to meet guidelines set by the CDC and the State of New York to try to contain the spread of the virus.

We have made the decision to cancel the following upcoming performances. We are processing refunds for all ticket holders. If you have purchased a ticket and not received a refund, please contact us at boxoffice@catskillmtn.org.

March 28 performance of Sleeping Beauty by the Russian National Ballet

April 22 and 23 performances of BEEP

The Academy of Fortepiano Performance, from May 23 to May 31, including all concerts, lectures and masterclasses.
The two cancelled concerts are the Resident Artist concert on May 23 and the Guest Artist concert by Pierre Goy on May 24.

We are also closing our public spaces until further notice. The movie theater, Kaaterskill Fine Arts Gallery and Kaaterskill Shoppe will be closed until further notice. Community Dance Classes will also be cancelled until further notice.

The status of public events and public spaces will be re-evaluated as needed through May 31, 2020.

The offices of the Catskill Mountain Foundation are closed. Employees have been directed to work from home. If you need to reach us, please e-mail cmf@catskillmtn.org.

As a reminder, Governor Cuomo has ordered a state-wide shutdown of all non-essential businesses. Everyone else should stay home, for their own health and the health of others.

There are simple steps we can all take to stop the spread of COVID-19 and other respiratory viruses.

  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

  • Stay home when you are sick.

  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue.

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces, like your cell phone.

For up-to-date information regarding the coronavirus/COVID-19, please visit the dedicated NYS and CDC websites.

Further updates about closures and cancellations at the Catskill Mountain Foundation will be posted regularly on this page.

Yours sincerely,
The Catskill Mountain Foundation
