Red Herring Puppets: "Little One-Inch"

“The children were mesmerized. Several parents commented that this was the best puppet show they’d ever seen, highly professional, and absolutely fabulous.”
—Pam Bloom, Rowan County Libraries

Based on the popular Japanese folktale of love and enchantment, Little One Inch is the magical story of an aged couple whose prayers are answered when they find a small baby by the side of the road.

This new solo show, performed in a delicately hand-crafted theatre is designed for family audiences of all ages.

Lisa Sturz, Artistic Director of Red Herring Puppets, is an Emmy award-winning puppeteer who has worked with Jim Henson Productions, Lucasfilm, Walt Disney Imagineering, PBS, NBC, UNC-TV, the Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Indiana School of Music, the Asheville Symphony and many more.
