Academy of Fortepiano Performance Workshop & Festival

The Academy of Fortepiano Performance is a perfect introduction for pianists who have an interest in playing early instruments, as well as an intensive study opportunity for experienced students of period performance practice. Led by renowned performers and specialists, students will participate in lessons, master classes, and workshops supported by plentiful access to pianos from the 18th and 19th century or their modern replicas.

American String Quartet

Based on the book by J.R.R. Tolkien, in No Strings Marionette Company's adaptation of this stirring adventure fantasy, puppeteers adeptly animate marionettes, life-size body puppets and amazing puppet hybrids.

Once Upon a Time

Once upon a time, a musical trio called The Funny Valentines took the stage in the Catskill Mountain Foundation’s Red Barn for the CMF’s first ever musical performance. This November marks the 25th anniversary of that premiere performance, and The Valentines - Darcy Dunn, Julia Mendelsohn and Mark Singer – are back with a program of musical favorites both old and new.
