Mr. Levin will explain the historical basis for the practice of performers adding ornaments to Mozart’s music, illustrating this practice through his perforning of selected Mozart sonata movements, a performance of one of Mozart’s complete sonatas and his completion of one of Mozart’s unfinished sonata fragments.
