This course will cover both throwing and hand building techniques and include discussions about design considerations and conceptualization. Ken will focus on thrown and altered/hand built animal sculptures while Galen will cover thrown and altered functional forms, including topics such as handles, spouts, and combining thrown parts. We will also explore surface treatment both pre and post firing
