COVID Can't Defeat Our Kids!
MOUNTAIN CINEMA
On Saturday, June 5, the Catskill Mountain Foundation and the Windham Arts Alliance will open an exhibition featuring art created by local students in response to the COVID pandemic. Called “COVID Can’t Defeat Our Kids,” the exhibition features work by students from Hunter-Tannersville Middle & High School, Gilboa-Conesville Central School, and the Platte Clove Community. The show runs through July 4.

On Saturday, June 12 at 7:30 pm, the Catskill Mountain Foundation will live stream a pre-taped staged reading of the hilarious one-act play, Wanda’s Visit by Christopher Durang. Starring Darcy Dunn, Dayna Kurtz, John McCaffrey, and Mark Singer (who also directed the production), the reading was filmed by videographer David Katzive earlier this year at the Doctorow Center for the Arts in Hunter. This presentation will be shown on the Catskill Mountain Foundation’s YouTube and Facebook channels for FREE!

Our 2021 Season

This year, we have already presented several online, virtual performances, many of which are still viewable on our YouTube page. We will continue to work with our artists to offer more virtual, recorded performances for the rest of the year, and will hold a few select limited seating in-person performances. We are hoping to present The Nutcracker live in the Orpheum in December 2021.
