A lifelong opera-lover, author, architect and film-maker, August Ventura has written extensively on Giuseppe Verdi for Il Giornalino de Parma Lirica and Opera News, focusing on the relationship Verdi’s hometown of Parma maintains with the maestro’s legacy.
