Welcome to the catalog for the Podell Library. The list you see is organized into about 60 categories, such as Adventure, American Civilization, American History, American Presidents... Art... Biography... Business... Cooking... Hobbies... Literature... Poetry... Performing Arts... Self-Help... Travel Guides... War, etc. So one way to find books that might interest you is to scroll down the list, and browse through particular categories.

On the other hand, if you have a favorite author, just type in the author's last name and press the Search button, which will bring up any the books we have by that author.

Or, if you know the name of the book you want, just type in the name. If the title starts with the word "The" or "A" or "An", leave out that word in typing the title.

As a fourth search method, if you are interested in a particular subject matter, just type the word that mostly closely describes the subject matter, such such as "Arab" or "Mexico" or "Churchill" or "Cooking", and the search will bring up any book that has that world in its title (although there may be other books we have on that subject which do not have that particular word in the book title and thus will not be found this way).

Any book you reserve can be picked up, starting on the first Saturday following the day on which you order it, at Kaatershill Fine Arts in Hunter Village Square during their regular business hours. Please bring a photo ID, and a credit card for an imprint to cover possible loss. Enjoy!
