SUGAR MAPLES

Meredith Lippman

Meredith Lippman is an artist, curator and Program Development Specialist for the Hudson County Office of Cultural Affairs. She has been teaching for over 25 years. Her love of drawing has now become the major area of exploration in her studio for the last 10 years. Her work uses a wide variety of materials not only for the surface but also to look at new materials upon which to draw. Drawing has become not only a way to investigate ideas, but also to better connect to a deep personal vision. Ms. Lippman has curated large group exhibitions in the NY/NJ metropolitan area, administers Hudson County's Public Art Program and has shown in both group shows and solo shows throughout NY and NJ. She has a BA from SUNY Empire State College, and has also studied at SUNY Purchase, NYFAI, Greenwich House Pottery and has taken workshops in drawing with Tim Hawkesworth at the Norristown Art Center and R&F Handmade Paints in
Encaustics.
