Workshop

Note: This course has been offered in the past and is provided for informational purposes only.

In this three-day workshop participants will bring 15 pieces of Cone 10 bisqueware, which we will decorate and glaze on the first day, then load the salt kiln together. Participants should bring bisqueware of different sizes - more vertical pieces (vases, pitchers, jars) than horizontal pieces (bowls). In addition students may also bring 5 to 10 very small pieces that will help to fill the kiln. We will fire the kiln together on Saturday while having good conversations. We will unload and discuss the pots and the beauty of salt firing on Sunday afternoon. Come and enjoy this beautiful process.
