Note: This course has been offered in the past and is provided for informational purposes only.

This five day workshop will focus on improving throwing skills in order to make wonderful functional vessels and then progress to learning various surface enhancement techniques such as: slip brushwork hakeme, sponge decorating, slip trailing, wax resist, sgrafitto, high relief, glaze on glaze and more. Those students who wish, will be taught how to glaze for succesful wood firing and have the option of firing up to 10 pieces in the wood firing of Beecher's wood kiln, for an additional small fee, which will take place at a later date.
