"Hero," by Linda Wilkinson

Linda Wilkinson has been “taking pictures a long time.” A self-taught photographer, she says she started selling her work by accident. Encouraged by her late husband to begin showing her photographs she decided to show her work in a local festival. She did extremely well and from there was asked to exhibit in some of the local establishments. Now Linda’s work can be found at the Canal Towne Emporium. She is also an active member of the Wurtsboro Art Alliance and will be one of the featured artists for the grand opening of the Wurtsboro Art Alliance Gallery, which opens July 14. The gallery can be found on Sullivan Street.
