The Windham Chapter has set up a special fund for donations designated to help restore Windham after the damage and devastation left in the wake of Hurricane Irene.

Please understand, homeowner's insurance does not cover flood damage. Most residents do not carry flood insurance unless they live in the flood zones and have mortgages that mandate flood insurance coverage. Windham-Ashland-Jewett Central School was flooded. Roads and infrastructure will need to be rebuilt. Bridges will need to be replaced. The damage is devastating.

We have already secured a number of pledges and donations in the amounts of $25,000, $10,000, $5,000 and numerous $1,000 contributions. Your support will help to rebuild and to repair the Windham Community.
