The Catskill Mountain Crafts Collective is dedicated to encouraging economic development in the Catskill Region through the promotion of our area's wonderful craftspeople and artisans. The handcraft industry has a national economic impact of $13.8 billion a year. Craft businesses are made of people who live and work and play in our region. They reflect the natural heritage of the region throught the used of wood, wool, bluestone, leather, and other elements. They are environmentally sound and have the capacity to integrate within different sectors of the economy - tourism, agriculture and education.
