Dear Readers,
It is with mixed emotions that I write this, my last note to you. I am both thrilled and heartsick that I am leaving New York State. By the time you are reading this I will (if all goes well…) be relocated. As I have mentioned on previous occasions, I have loved the opportunity to support the artists who appear on the pages of the Guide magazine and have felt honored to get to be a part of that process. But “change is good” as they say and I not only look forward to the changes that await me but also know it will be good for the portfolio to have a new perspective. Sarah Taft will be taking over where I leave off, not only offering a fresh eye but also assuring that the portfolio continues to showcase local photographers.
Again, I want to thank everyone for submitting their work, I wish you all the best of luck and please, keep submitting your work—you help make the Guide the beautiful magazine that it is.
