“On the Dock,” by James McCracken

This month's cover photograph was taken by James McCracken. James was born and raised in the Catskills and loves taking pictures of nature, the outdoors and his kids. He first started taking pictures when his father allowed him to use his Pentax 35mm camera on family vacations. As life progressed James got away from photography and pursued other goals. In 2006 he decided to buy his first digital camera to photograph his kids and found his passion for photography returning. James had his work published in a book called Tomorrow's Dreams by The International Library Of Photography as well as having appeared in the Guide.
