“Hay Wagons Near Cemetery” by Beth Rappleyea

Beth Rappleyea considers herself an ameteur photographer. She started taking pictures in 1983, after she inherited her sister's abandoned camera, which was Sears' equivilent to a Pentax K1000. She has been using a digital Panasonic Lumix 720 for the last three years. She says, "It has so many bells and whistles, I can't even tell you. It will take black and white or sepia. It can be totally automatic or totally manual and every step in between, which allows me to keep growing and learning. I'm one of those people who keeps my camera in the car because you know you're always going to see something. In this photograph it happened to be a rainy day so all of the colors were just crazy amazing."
