“Farm on Gristmill Lane,” by Paul Rich

“This photograph, Farm on Gristmill Lane, has been very popular since it reminds people of a simpler way of life, once common but now rapidly disappearing in the Hudson Valley.” —Paul Rich

Paul Rich has been interested in 35mm film photography for many years and converted to the digital format a number of years ago. His portfolio includes images of nature such as plants, wildlife, waterfalls and landscapes, as well as farms, lighthouses and building ruins. While originally only a hobby, his photography interests expanded into a business, BlackCreekPhoto, which he created with his wife Nancy Keenan-Rich in 2003. Through BlackCreekPhoto, Paul has been selling his photographs at craft fairs and shops throughout the Hudson Valley. Paul also started doing some studio photography that was published in a book by Gryphon House, Inc. in 2007. As well, his work has appeared in and on the cover of the Guide magazine on numerous occasions. You can see more of his work by visiting www.BlackCreekPhoto.com.
