"Lemon Squeeze" is the imaginative title of this dramatic photograph of an opening in a giant cliff. The sunlight falling on the cliff to the right creates a dynamic sculptural effect that would have pleased Michelangelo or Henry Moore. The view through the cleft in the rocks heightens the drama of the scene, with its beautiful blue sky above, the forest below, and the mountains barely seen in the distance. The dark shadow of the rock on the left dramatically frames the image. One can’t help wondering where the photographer stood when taking this remarkable photograph! ‹ back to July 2002
