Harness the energy of the upcoming shift in season as well as the rising global consciousness at The Global Medicine Show & Earth Concert presented by New Genesis Productions at the Bearsville Theater, Route 212, Woodstock on Saturday, June 20.

The day kicks off at 5:30 pm in the Bearsville Theater Lounge with The Global Medicine Show. Heralded by a healing drum circle led by Fre Atlast, followed by story theatre, music from Uncle Rock and peace prayer from Victoria Christgau. The Global Medicine Show will feature environmental exhibits, displays and activities for folks of all ages to learn the ways others are working to help build a more sustainable and equitable world.

At 7 pm the Earth Concert will take place in the Bearsville Theater. An opening prayer for peace will precede a screening of the short film Earth, after which talks on environmental sustainability, social justice and spiritual fulfillment. Special guest speakers include
Clark Strand, author of How to Believe in God, Whether You Believe in Religion or Not.

At 8 pm Kevin So, singer/songwriter brings intimately acoustic sound of our times influenced by his heroes: Dylan, Taylor and Wonder.

Capping the night with the powerful rhythms of the music from acclaimed South African agents of change Sharon Katz & the Peace Train.
