Spotted dogs, orange gourds, antique machines and ghastly screams—October festivals are as diverse as the turning leaves. Many center around the harvest but for those not fond of squash, there are plenty of other attractions to choose from.
What better way to enjoy an October day than soaking up the last of the daytime sun, taking in the fall colors with your neighbors and friends and perhaps enjoying the cool autumn nights’ lighthearted frights?
Drive carefully. The ghost you save could be your own.
