Come join us for an open house and grand opening of the new Podell Library and Art Collection at the Sugar Maples Center for Creative Arts.

Opening of the Podell Library and Art Collection

The Library features 3,000 volumes of classic literature and books on travel, history, art, adventure, hobbies, psychology and more. Each book has been read by the collector, ALbert Podell, and personally selected for the library. During the open house there will be a chance to find $200 hidden in the library. The Art Collection features 110 extraordinary pieces of indigenous artwork and exotic artifacts collected by Albert Podell in his travels through every continent in the world during the past 40 years—making this one-of-a-kind collection unique to our region.

Sugar Maples Open House

The Sugar Maples Studios will be open to visitors and members of the faculty (in Ceramics, Fiber Arts, Painting, Deigital Media and Summer Youth Programs) will be on hand to answer questions and show you the facilities.

Visit our on-campus Natural Agriculture Farm and meet farm Manager, Kenji Ban. Wine and cheese for the whole community will be served at the Podell Library and Art Collection from 4:30PM until 5:30PM.
