The Village Square bookstore's weekly Story Hour features guests readers each week. Story Hour is held on Thursdays from 10:30 AM-11:00 AM and is open to the young and the young at heart.

August Schedule:

  • September 18: "Pirate Marci," aka CMF designer Marci Todd, is back from the high seas to read us a book entitled "Art" by Patrick McDonnell, and -- if we're very, very good, she may even share her crayons as well.
  • September 25: Marie Villavecchia is back from her travels to the deepest parts of New Jersey to read Dr. Suess' tall tale about "The Cat in the Hat."
  • October 2: Rebecca Johnson joins us for the second time to read "Horton Hears a Who," another Dr. Seuss favorite. Rebecca, a self-described "local, eclectic creator," is from Tannersville.
  • October 9: Let's give Grace Adami a warm welcome when she joins us for the very first time as a reader in our series. Grace will read "Splat the Cat" by Rob Scotton.
