Raymond Steiner will read from, talk about, and sign copies of his new book, The Mountain, which follows the story of Jake Forscher and his development from handyman to recognized landscape painter.

Though this is a fictional work, The Mountain contains historically authentic people and places—which allows for an account of much local and New York state history, especially the growth and development of the Woodstock Art Colony.

In addition to his writing, Steiner is a teacher, lecturer, painter and the editor and art critic/reviewer for Art Times, a literary journal.
