Prokofiev's "Peter and the Wolf"

Narrated by Carol Spear

Catskill Mountain Chamber Orchestra’s annual performance of Sergei Prokofiev’s children’s classic Peter and the Wolf has become a favorite for families and their young children.  Each year a narrator tells the story as the orchestra plays the beloved music that evokes images of Peter, the wolf, the duck and all the characters in the story. The afternoon also includes an introduction to the instruments by the musicians. And, after the performance each child receives a free gift!
