Farm life has been disappearing from the American scene for so many decades that few people today know what living on a farm is really like.  Despite the recent resurgence of farmer’s markets and the “slow food” movement, fewer and fewer people understand the communal life that farms promoted and the intimate link that still exists between the land and their lives. This exhibition attempts to recapture a little of that life and show us that, despite changes in society and culture, the land endures.  These award winning photographers and master painters share their impressions with us: Lev Akhsanov, Dan Burkholder, Robert Cepale, Francis X. Driscoll, Del Higgins, Judith Orseck Katz, Peter Liman, Robert Lipgar, Karen Rhodes, and Ken Snyder.
