Mary A. Certoma
Mary A. Certoma discovered painting at an early age and was commissioned for a landscape at age 13. She studied art education at SUNY New Paltz College and glass blowing at Penland School of Crafts. She started blowing glass in 1983 and opened her own shop and studio during 1989. She has teamed up with area high schools and has given glass blowing lessons to students enrolled in the Mentor Program since 1990. Mary's work can be seen in galleries and fine gift shops.
