Sugar Maples Awarded $17,000 in Scholarships for Mountain Top Residents

Sugar Maples Youth Theater Performance Ladies of the Court and Knights in Armor will be taking over Maplecrest this weekend in the Sugar Maples Center for the Creative Arts original performance of The Secret Garden of King Arthur. Melding these two classic tales in a unique way, the students of Sugar Maples will be performing this Saturday, August 18th at 1pm at the Sugar Maples campus in Maplecrest. Admission is FREE to this outdoor theater production, please bring a blanket or a chair. The Windham Chapter is very enthusiastic to sponsor $17,000 in scholarships for mountaintop residents who want to participate in programs at Sugar Maples, regardless of artistic ability or experience. Sugar Maples offers mountaintop residents and visitors a creative outlet and a resource for receiving quality art training in a wide variety of subjects. The Windham Chapter of the Catskill Mountain Foundation is a division of the Catskill Mountain Foundation and a 501©3 not-for profit organization.
